I grew up in Melbourne, Australia with an Italian background. Although I would say I’m mostly self taught. I have studied the following: oil painting with an Australian artist, Professional Drawing (Cert I), fashion illustration, and Design (Cert IV). I have illustrated/painted live at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival 2018 and 2019 as well as various other public and private events. I currently sell originals and take on many private commissions.
My art is mostly monochrome, black, white and shades of grey. I work with inks, watercolour, acrylic on canvas or paper. I have a fascination with light and shade, balance, lines and tone.
We had pretty good show considering it was run as a COVID Safe Event with timed 2 hour sessions and ticketed. We achieved Sales above 20% grossing $104k (including Artist in Residence) which was our highest result ever and yielding an averaging selling price point of $537.
